Topic: Back for another year, let’s show everyone what life with diabetes looks like! With a nod to the Diabetes 365 project, let’s grab our cameras again and share some more d-related pictures. Post as many or as few as you’d like. Feel free to blog your thoughts on or explanations of your pictures, or leave out the written words and let the pictures speak for themselves.
OHMYGAWD I LOVE PICTURES, Any of my friends can tell you that. I don’t need to buy stuff as long as I can take pictures. I’m an amateur photographer I guess?
Here are some Diabetes related photos.
^^I like to be a little artsy? This was for the photo challenge for Diabetes awareness month- I kind of stopped part way through- one of my kind of negative spells diabetes wise last semester. BUT My pumpsite near my very first tattoo. (please respect the decisions I make regarding my body- I play the one year rule). This Tattoo was supposed to be my only one- the leaves and vines are supposed to represent Camp Kudzu- and the initials are in memory of my dad. His favorite poem was also footprints in the sand.
I make a new poster like the one above after Diabetes Awareness Month to recognize all the amazing people in my life!
^ Dawgs For Diabetes Logo! On the left is my favorite button designed by the current VP. Meet our new official logo. We have also launched our website! Follow along for a future newsletter. Also interested in a writing a guest post of blog? Contact us!

^The “camp” area of my room/dresser. Filled with camp photos- when I took this picture, had just changed my site.
^My very first sharps container for camp as a CIT! Big symbol at camp and being a CIT.
